Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress, who has worked in film and TV is well known for movies such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles which included the leading role in the movie Downfall Youth With No Youth Control. After her critically acclaimed role in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge in Downfall.
